The professional relationship that I have had with Ryan Brown for the last three years has been a blessing. We worked together at Vivent Health for over a year and during that short time I was able to learn so much from him. Ryan’s management and leadership stood out at Vivent Health. He inherited a department that had been restructured three times in less than two years, a staff that did not trust the organization and its management. Ryan took the time to get to know each of his team members, learn their strengths and weaknesses and found ways to give his team clear directions and expectations without being overbearing. Ryan not only ensured that his department achieved organizational goals, but he ensured that each member of his team reached their full potential. Ryan is an excellent communicator and has a great sense of humor. I worked closely with the leadership of the Texas location, collecting monthly and quarterly departmental reports on behalf of the Vice President of Operations. Ryan always submitted his documents on time and with little to no edits needed. Many of the directors and I would take their ideas or issues to Ryan as he had established himself as a valued resource, able to see big picture and give honest feedback. Ryan was also open to feedback from his supervisor and colleagues. Although we have both moved on from Vivent Health, Ryan has continued to be a mentor to me. Any organization would greatly benefit from having Ryan Brown be part of their leadership team.
