Engineering Geologist

Dec 2012 - Dec 2015
During this employment I specialised in 2D and 3D GIS visualisations showing laboratory, geotechnical and geophysical results for offshore site investigations for wind farms and the oil & gas industries. This has included volume calculations for seabed remediation such as trench infill and dredging for spud-can placement. This has lead to proficient knowledge in software such as Rockworks, ArcGIS and Global Mapper. Within my role at the company, I am also responsible for recommending soil parameters and writing engineering parameter reports for pipeline/ cable routes; this has lead to conducting leg penetration analysis for jack-up rigs and pile analysis. In addition to the duties mentioned, I have been developing the data management system in particular the importing of data from offshore into the laboratory system and into the geotechnical software gINT for reporting including exporting to AGS4 format. I also manage the templates within gINT that the company use for presenting all geotechnical and laboratory data.
