Alliance (see previous position) was bought by Bytes in 2012, and this move was an internal transfer. During this time, I have performed work for: Netstar Bateman (now Tenova) Development Bank of Southern Africa Anglo American Old Mutual Insure The Aurum Institute Nedbank Vodacom ALtron (internal) The roles I have performed range from highly technical (Integration, Linux admin, AWS SysOps) to Architectural (Data, Integration, Enterprise, Solution) to Business (PreSales, planning, training of graduates). For a few of these position, my reporting has been to the executive. During 2019 I spent 9 months in a 3-man team preparing Altron as an AWS Partner, finding business as well as providing solutions within the group. This position reported to an executive within Bytes.

I was originally hired at MTN to integrate the Staffware system with the Weblogic middleware layer. Over time, I took over more of the MNP (mobile number portability) functionality until I owned the production system as well as the development on the new system. Duties: Worked on a number of the web-based solutions which Qualica offered. These included an Event Management site, a courier service tracking site and a site for booking flights on a local airline. Achievements: Coded an interface for the airline site and others to conduct credit card transactions over the internet with a number of local and international financial institutions. The gateway had transacted well over R1-billion within the first year. Duties: Worked on a number of the web-based solutions which Qualica offered. Duties: Message design, EDI configuration, Customer interaction. The division within the bank was named "Absa Trading Solutions" and offered EDI solutions to corporate customers. The aim was to have the automated trade lead into automated payment mechanisms. Absa were re-selling a few off-the-shelf EDI solutions which the team configured to meet the customer's electronic trading requirements. Achievements: Solutions provided for Lectrolite, Haggie Rand and Gentyre Reason for Leaving : Department within Absa closed down.
