Level 5 (Lyfts Autonomous Vehicle Division) was acquired by Woven By Toyota (a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation). Woven By Toyota is building AD/ADAS systems to deploy globally. Woven Planet is a software-first subsidiary of Toyota and their vision is to create mobility of people, goods, and information that everyone can enjoy and trust. I am the Manager of the Systems Engineering, Architecture and Platform team for Woven By Toyota's Advanced AD/ADAS division. The System Engineering, Architecture and Platform team is responsible for capturing system-level requirements, system-level architecture, and verification/validation needs. Our team collaborates with several teams to facilitate flow down of requirements, systems architecture, and systems design. We are the force that brings order to chaos and makes sure the system comes together and works as intended. Show less

Level 5 is Lyft’s self-driving division with offices in Palo Alto, California; Munich, Germany; and London, UK. We’re working toward building the leading self-driving system for ridesharing, because we believe in a future where self-driving cars make transportation safer and more accessible for everyone. With fewer cars on the road and less pollution in the air, we can reshape cities around people, not cars.
