My MRes project seeks to explore the role of contemporary pedagogy for the creative industries within the ATU region, by linking directly with industry to explore their views and insights. The purpose of the research is to better inform third level education, benefit the creative industries, and enhance existing literature. The research position was attained by means of scholarship with the university and will be fulfilled over a two year period which incorporates the research project itself, assistant teaching, professional development and leadership skills.
