During break between semesters, did a one-month internship at a nonprofit aimed at inspiring K12 students from under-served neighborhoods in Los Angeles to become the next generation of leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). During this time, I: Sought out and found 16 fundraising grants the foundation is eligible for, and began writing applications for these. Mentored 5 robotics teams at middle and high schools funded and supported by the foundation.
