Rehabilitation Manager
-
Apr 2004 - Aug 2011
I ran a team that was responsible for the rehabilitation of all staff that injured themselves at work across the Air New Zealand Group. This involved the management of the Accredited Employer ACC fund, development and maintenance of key stakeholder relationships in accordance with company policy, legislative requirements and contractual arrangements with ACC. This also includes the development, implementation and management of company wide injury management policies. I made commercial decisions which considered the costs to the business as well as the wellbeing of the overall staff. Trained managers and line managers on how to reduce lost time injuries and maximise productivity. Developed close working relationships internally with managers, line managers, HR, H&S reps, union reps across the Air New Zealand Group and externally with unions and providers.
