These were new markets for many of the companies I was working with so a critical part of my role was providing insights into market opportunities and challenging companies to consider these markets.   I developed policy to tackle the underlying causes of health inequalities in Scotland, working across Government to promote an ‘assets based approach’ as a new way to deal with the route causes of health inequalities. I also led on the Scottish Government’s involvement on a multi stakeholder pilot to reduce violence.
