Alumin Charity Caller & Community Warden

Sep 2012 - Jun 2013
Oxford Brookes University – Alumni Charity Fundraiser (2013)I worked for the 4-‐week fundraising event at Oxford Brookes. I was responsible for calling alumni and updating their details on the database. The primary reason for the contact was to obtain regular donations for the Brookes Alumni Fund. My strong communication skills achieved a higher than average donation rate for the fund.Oxford Brookes University – Community Student Warden (2012)I worked on a part-‐time basis for Oxford Brookes Community Liaison Team. The job involved improving relations between permanent and student residents in the local community. We dealt with noise, litter and waste issues by raising awareness to students of their place in the community. We educated the students through meetings in their home, door-‐to-‐door knocking and local events.I also wrote an article which was published in the Community E-Newsletter.

GTI Specialist Publishers - Client Support Team Leader (2004-‐ 2006)I started at GTI as an administrator and was promoted to team leader. I managed a team of six people, dealing with any team issues, inductions and training. We were the main point of contact between clients, the sales and production team. I managed key blue-‐chip accounts and law firms. Attention to detail and keeping to deadlines was key to ensure publications went to print on time. Alongside the print publication I was also responsible for maintaining and editing the website.
