I worked with SMEC Australia for 3 years and 3 months undertaking the role of corporate administrator and Events coordinator. I started with SMEC as a 2-week temp but due to exceeding all targets set, I was giving a permanent position. With this role I had a number of daily tasks to do as well as being able to mix with variety of people from the chief executive right down to the office juniors. Skills that helped me be successful included: • Good attention to detail • Ability to stay calm under pressure • Methodical and thorough approach to work • Organised • Good at juggling tasks and prioritising • A great team player • A desire to show initiative The job involves a lot of structure as you have a number of set tasks to work through on a daily basis. It’s very satisfying working through the regular list of 'to dos' and completing these on time, ready for the list to start again.

      • Aug 2013 - May 2015

Once graduating from University of Limerick, I started work in Careline. I worked within the International department as a Coordinator. I also provided administrative support to the office. Main duties include managing office stock, preparing regular reports (e.g. expenses and office budgets) and organizing company records. After gaining an understanding of how the business works I worked closely with the CEO. The main highlight of this job I undertook was to handle multifaceted tasks (e.g., data entry, agreeing rates with agents, records management and billing) as well as liaising with the international sales manager to ensure that the clients were content and the move would be a smooth transition. Furthermore, helping the sales manager to put together Powerpoint presentations, organise meetings to help win accounts.
