It has been a great pleasure having Russell as my project manager at Netbuilder. Not only is he a fantastically hard working and dedicated project manager, but also great at keeping up team morale and making sure that everyone is well on an emotional level as well as a professional one. Like all great project managers, he drives good communication within a team makes sure that they can get on with their work without any external interference or hindrances and as a result, allow them to produce quality deliverables. I hope to have many project managers like Russell in the future and would happily recommend him for any management role.

The best project manager at getting the impossible delivered. Russ is the hardest working and most resourceful project manager I’ve ever worked with. He has the amazing ability to manage numerous difficult technical projects simultaneously whilst still maintaining control and governance. Whilst at NETbuilder Russ was responsible for delivering the most challenging programme of work within the organisation and he not only got it all delivered on time and to budget but to the satisfaction of a very fragmented stakeholder group.

At the heart of this is our belief that brilliant people deliver great results when enabled by best in class technology. We build powerful Drupal 8 websites to delight your customers and drive your business growth. Clients : Close Brothers, Ocean Independence, Winterflood Responsibilities Provided client services to engage and support clients, project management skills to manage and report upon the delivery of their goals and employed my people and team-building skills to motivate and empower the development team within a fast-paced, keenly-focused environment. Learned about client’s current solutions and designs, plans and solution proposals, then shared and agreed approach, scope, designs, costs and high-level delivery plans with the client. Documented design changes within Trello and JIRA tickets, recorded project-level documentation within Confluence pages. Worked with the team to estimate development effort, planned solution delivery and allocated suitable resource. Collaboratively drafted actionable tasks in order to achieve the greater goal(s), fielded the development team’s questions, facilitated the removal of barriers and acted as an ‘engine’ to keep communication flowing between client, project and senior management and the development team. Managed budget trackers and ad-hoc quotations. Key achievements * Drove the delivery of ‘BAU’ solutions across 5 client financial website projects, and assisted with 2 large, new and upgrade projects. These involved a large range of end-user-facing functionality, design, integration and performance issues. * Managed the deployment of a firewall solution to enable the client to enhance their website security and to better field their yacht charter and sales solutions, whilst also working with them to maximize their SEO performance and end-user satisfaction. Project execution for UK factory and depot supply chain assets, primarily focused upon interfacing design, data manipulation, storage and integrity and managing internal and external customer deliverables. Key achievements revolved around the use of communication in building and maintaining relationships between multiple UK site staff and 3rd party suppliers to achieve timely, appropriate business solutions. Results included the implementation of a UK-wide pallet-labelling solution across multiple factories and depots, integrating data and interfaces upon merging with a large competitor, training and empowering team members in a range of key applications in order to distribute knowledge, reduce risk and to develop the team. * Implemented a UK-wide pallet-labelling solution for 7 high-volume factories, 2 depots and for various stakeholders, producing 150,000 labelled pallets p.a. and generating £800m in product revenue. Negotiated the establishment of a standard application design, and mediated between in-house users, 3rd party software suppliers and resource and factory management for the UK-wide project. Enthusiastically provided pre and post implementation support across the range of supply chain factory shifts, wherever possible. Voluntarily participated in a business-critical 24hour/7day out of hours technical support capacity for 1 week in every month to support my colleagues at the disparate factories. * Developed and Migrated interface changes during a company takeover and when a new depot came on stream. This involved building strong, collaborative relationships with key staff at the new depot, and also within the newly migrated company in order to ensure that nothing was omitted in accommodating their process interface requirements into Unilever’s interface standard.
