Russ is a forward thinking teacher who continually challenges himself and his students to look at history in new ways. My interactions with Russ over the past 3.5 years have been to help support his use of technology inside and out of the classroom as he uses simulations to create "what if" scenarios for his students, creates podcasts and video productions to illustrate historical items, and supporting current events through real time communications. Students seem to genuinely enjoy being in Russ' classroom, and he is well liked and respected by staff as well. I would recommend Russ Tillman without reservation.
