Russ and I both worked for many years together as a Regional Managers at SofterWare. I have learned a lot from a lot of different sales guys, but from the start at SofterWare Russ was my go to guy. Everybody needs "a guy" and Russ has always been my guy. First off, his dedication to both his craft and the DonorPerfect product is un-matched. In software sales you rarely ever see someone with the dedication and motivation to work for the same company for over 17 years. Russ is one of those guys that is great to work with because he is competitive and pretty much always the top sales rep at the company year in and year out. Working in the non-profit space is a completely different animal and Russ has built so many great relationships and is a natural networker. He is truly a master of building a pipeline and moving that pipeline through the sales process. He is never desperate because he always has a full stock of prospects to work with. Software is incredibly lucky to have found and kept such a true sales talent. If was a sales manager this is the first guy I would want to build a team around. All this being said at the heart of it he is just a really good dude that knows how to work with people inside and outside of his company.

I first met Russ 4 years ago when I was inquiring about his fundraising software. Russ was incredibility knowledgeable of his product and understanding of my needs in a software program. He has been patient and always willing to answer my questions year after year not knowing if I would ever buy his software. I just purchased the software this year and the support that I have received from Russ and the rest of the staff at SofterWare has been top notch. He continues to be there for support even after the sale and helped through the transition of data transfer and making sure that the transition from our program to his has been smooth. He continues to offer his help as we learn the software. I would strongly recommend that any non-profit looking into a fundraising software package call Russ before they make their final decision.
