Big-D Construction was super good to me. I always felt as if I had all of the tools, training and support to do my job. I especially enjoyed working with the Lindon Office team. Trevor runs a tight ship. He's a good responsible leader with high expectations. The project managers I've worked with have always been top notch. It was a struggle to make the decision to leave Big-D because of the respect I have for the friendships developed here. Big-D Construction was super good to me. I have enjoyed being apart of KOO Construction. KOO is based in Sacramento California and working on several projects here in Utah at Hill Air-Force Base. I have been assigned a project at the South Gate. The project includes the addition of an additional lane of traffic exiting the base. As well as relocating several utilities and security features. All while managing the the traffic at a very busy location, one of 3 entry/exit points at the base. I finished work started at little mountain inspection lane and turn around project. This project was construction of a inspection lane for semi trucks needing to access the little mountain facility. The location was a 2 lane road with steep banks on either side of the road. The high side of the road was cut back for the retaining wall, security lighting and security fence for inspections of semi trucks. The low side of the road structurally filled with material to create a semi truck turn around for trucks that would denied access and be turned away from the Little mountain facility. Upon completion of the South gate and little mountain projects I helped out as a 2nd superintendent overseeing the interior work at Hanger 43 Repair shop. Hanger 43 repair shop was being remodeled to accommodate the new F35 Aircraft coming to HAFB. After a few weeks I took over for the senior superintendent, He left due to medical reasons.
