May 2021 - Aug 2021
At Vorbeck, I designed and prototyped a PTZ camera in a team of 4 summer associates, was primarily responsible for full CAD models, finding the right supplier, ordering parts, performing cost analysis, and engaged in full prototype integration. This work was one using SolidWorks, FDM & SLA 3D printers, and a lathe to bring the product from ideation to full design and prototyping. I also designed the product to achieve and IP67 rating, engaged in vendor relations, presented at design reviews, and wrote design reports.
