I've known and worked with Russell for over 15 years both while he was a web designer at Slightly Different and during his time as Digital Director at Gendall Design. Working with Russell in a small team for 3 years at Slightly Different was a joy. There are very few designers that can transition into web design easily and Russell made development easy by understanding that the web is a fluid medium. Working with him at Slightly Different was perhaps my favourite time in my career and having an understanding between designer and programmer made the process easy and fun.
