    • Lead Engineer (Concept FR-1)
      • Apr 2007 - Jul 2011

Concept FR-1 is a AU$2 million government and corporate funded project, to build a unique one-off concept car. The projects goals are to: - raise significant funds for 4 children charities, through the eventual auction of the vehicle, - internationally showcase the Australian manufacturing industry and - inspire and educate the next generation of students into engineering and trade related careers. My primary role was to lead a team to engineer all aspects of the vehicle. I personally raised over AU$600,000 in sponsorship support and developed the world’s first out-of-autoclave cured carbon fibre monocoque automotive chassis, which has featured in Top Gear magazine.
