I have been fortunate enough to be coached by Russell for my Level 1 qualification and I have found his coaching skills second to none. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a smile which trust me going on these courses that's the first thing you need. Russells courses are laid out and explained from the minute you arrive and your expectations are always exceeded. I found that Russell is enthusiastic, encouraging and has a dynamic approach to both theory and the practical elements. I have also had the pleasure of being a parent where my son attended one of Russells Futsal training sessions where I found the session to be run professionally and more importantly Fun. Overall I think Russell is a fantastic coach who can adapt to whoever he is coaching.

Luke Podmore

Russ is a fantastic coach and is very organised when it comes to setting up early and liaising with facilities and venues for his sessions. He is always punctual and goes that extra mile to make sure that the players have the best experience whilst taking part in one of his sessions. Russ is a coach and a service that I would most definitely recommend!

These players also have the opportunity to represent their country, with one of our players currently working in the England U19 set up and 3 others training within England North camps. With the senior team currently playing in the Superleague - the highest league in the UK, the development team themselves represent the club in National League 2, mainly against other development teams, but also against adult teams, which provides the boys with an opportunity to test what I have coached them against some difficult opposition nationally. I also have them playing in an adult Monday Night League to provide further tests and have recently competed against England U19 and England Adult Deaf Teams at St George's Park and Lillishall.

Since I first met Quinton on a coaching trip we were on together, we struck up a good relationship and we found we shared many values, including putting people at the heart of everything we do. We then visited Rio and New York together on further coaching camps and continued to discuss working on projects together. Quinton always had a vision to create an academy in Greater Manchester and I was lucky enough to be approached by him and his business partner James to come in and work with them on building the business into something bigger and more recognised and we set about doing this alongside managing director and Manchester Sports Media specialist Sarah Collins. Together we expanded the skills sessions that were already on offer to more venues in more areas of the county and then in October 2019 we built an academy from ground zero to 8 teams, competing in leagues, within a month and we are looking to expand further in 2020. We have dozens of school links and we have coaches teams from around the world, fostering relationships that will see us coach globally in the future and arrange two way training camps for youths in the UK and abroad. My plan is to drive the academy towards doubling the number of teams we have competing before the start of the 20-21 season and expand the skills sessions further, whilst continuing to grow links domestically and internationally.
