Key responsibilities include: Management of Breedon Ireland Environmental Management systems to ISO 14001, Energy Management Systems to ISO 50001 and supply chain management certification to BES 6001. Responsible for coordinating planning applications / PPC Permits / Waste Management Exemptions / Licenses / Waste Management returns to regulatory bodies for Breedon Ireland contracts and fixed production facilities. Management of sustainability agenda and benchmarking against group sustainability KPI's. Liaise with NIEA, SEPA, Natural Resources Wales and the Environment Agency regarding regulatory compliance. Production and management of project specific Construction Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans and Quality documents to clients for Approval. Imparting advice and assistance both internally and externally on Environmental and Quality standards and procedures. Developing and communicating company operational policies and practices to reflect legislative changes, audit findings and / or incident reports. Setting objectives and targets for Environmental and Quality Performance throughout the business. Planning and delivering in-house training seminars and environmental bulletins.
