I'm a group leader for the TRT - Teaching Recovery Techniques for Children aged 8+. This program was developed by Children and War UK as an answer for the war. It is now recognised that early help for children in how to cope with the stresses of war and being a refugee can be beneficial and may prevent later problems from developing. Me with my colleague are conducting groups with children to help them develop coping and resilience in traumatic circumstances of war and changing living place. I'm doing classes for children and lectures for adults in Rathmines Ukrainian Community Centre. My aim is to help them maintain mental health and developing psychological flexibility and resilience 🇺🇦❤️🇮🇪 I'm happy to start my volunteering activity in supporting Ukrainians adults and children who came to Ireland due to the war.
