My team was responsible for all the BI-instruments at the Company. We mainly worked with QlikSense. As a backend-developer I worked on an Alerting-service for QlikSense platform. The service lets analytics subscribe to changes in their reports and learn about them immediately. At the end of Q2 we were ranked #1 based on the Client Satisfaction Index in our Department. Stack: Python, FastAPI as a web-framework, SQLAlchemy and Alembic for DB-interaction, WebSockets and RestAPI to interact with other services, mTLS between all the microservices, Jenkins and BitBucket for CI/CD. I developed a REST API for deploying a CPU-demanding calculation model which let clients configure their own solar energy system based on input data (such as geodata, necessary power level, etc). The calculation model was developed by professionals from the Science Academy. I used FastAPI as a web-framework, SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL for storing data, Celery for executing CPU-demanding requests in parallel, Redis as a transport bus. I deployed all of it in their own Docker-containers with docker-compose as an orchestrator. Show less
