      -The 4 year trainee contract Private Companies (Trust audits and some smaller Close Corporations before the change in the Companies Act I have gained audit (Assurance and non-assurance engagements) experience in many fields such as: Financial Industry, Service industry, Manufacturing Industry (Fairly Wide variety of industries), and legal Industries. These are just to name a few. As a Semi-senior and Senior I had the privilege of drawing up financial statements (IFRS for SME), this entailed The Statement of Financial Performance, The Statement of Financial Position, The Statement of Cashflows, The Statement of Changes in Equity as well as the Notes to the Financial Statements, tax computation for the companies on the financial statements,raise any concerns and issues and report these to management, accounting and bookkeeping functions, reconciliations, managing a team, these were a few tasks that I performed. I had been exposed to the audit software, Caseware, where I was able to perform all the tasks required for audit engagements as well as accounting functions. On the Job I had been working constantly with a team ranging from 2 – 20 colleagues, all of which were from different backgrounds and different cultures. I had been assigned colleagues, working under me, since the beginning of 2013 and was able to manage the team relatively well. I had given my all to the work I performed as I believe what work you relay to others shows your character and self-confidence. Meeting deadlines was one of the important parts of the training contract, which meant that overtime was necessary and I was willing to put in the little extra to obtain the results required. As a leader I was firm and to the point, I did not make it a tense environment to work in, but I did ensure that the work was completed at the required times.
