  Private Cloud Design and Implementation using vCloud Suite Enterprise and VMware Operation. I undertook the VMware infrastructure and streamlined the process of the 'Day 2' tasks of VMware operations. VM right sizing and capacity planning with forecasting resource consumption by implementing vRealize Operations Manager. This was a mini project on its own where 300+ VM's were resized if they were over provisioned or under provisioned. A report was submitted to each application owner and explaining that their apps behave differently in a virtual world than a physical world. After successful implementation of vRealize Operations Manager it was our go to tool to find and pin point most of the anomalies and troubleshooted in no time. If not for vROPs it would take us countless hours to troubleshoot the problems. Cost calculation of resources to charge back each department on their resource utilization. At the time product referred as VMware ITBM was implemented and fed the costing to how each component of licensing, man hour, software etc. to compare the costing against a Public cloud offering with our On premise Cloud. Re-aligning the VMware Site Recovery Manager with the BCP/DR plan after its implementation to match the given RPO's and RTO's by the Enterprise Risk Management team. This again was a project by it self to meet the relevant app owners and and reassessing the RPO/RTO values. If they are mission critical systems they were dealt from a layer 7 perspective. As an organization the On premise cloud journey was embarked with the initial version of vRealize Automation 6.0. We got some of the departments to use the web portal to get a feel of the way how a vRealize Automation would help them in their Dev/Test environments. I was also helping the DB team with Linux LVM creation, troubleshooting, NFS creation and managing the Linux workloads.
