The ideas we generated and implemented were often ahead of their time. For example, a mobile pricing comparison service for books and music before the age of smartphones; or a framework for creating immersive experiences with mobile applications, any aspect of which could be updated by SMS. • Assistant CTO responsible for strategic development and product innovation. • Articulated products and technologies to Mobile Operators, MVNOs, content providers, partners, handset vendors, media organisations and SIM manufacturers worldwide. • Managed bid development, Surfkitchen lead for a multi-million dollar consortia; winning a £2 million contract with Three. • Requirements gathering – e.g. Orange Netherlands. Led a workshop with Orange and Supper Club to design a mobile application for a campaign; overcame obstacles that had stalled the project. • Presales - e.g. 3GSM (now Mobile World Congress). Worked with the Sales team to produce innovative technology demonstrators and communicated their benefits at the showcase in Barcelona. • Other - successfully obtained a lucrative patent that had previously stalled.
