  Over the past year, I’ve been journeying inward and exploring spiritual paths while travelling. This came after years of diligent budgeting with my wife and spending mindfully as we moved through a select handful of countries. My travels started in Spain, walking the Camino de Santiago, before visiting ashrams and yoga centres in Rishikesh, India and Chiang Mai, Thailand to deepen my meditation and yoga practices. This culminated in my completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training, and I’m now teaching mixed styles and techniques for yoga and meditation to clients around the world. Projects also focused their efforts to bring broken communities together through economic ventures and thus build peace following the devastating period of genocide and civil war. o English taught to classes of 90, but also on a more individual basis, teaching people with often little or no knowledge of English. Games, and songs were created to facilitate the learning process.• Fund-raising projects set up whilst in Butare, including the gathering of orphan’s stories to be made into a book in the UK and sold to the public. • Established a network of contacts and subsequently have organised a series of UK-based events to raise funds for an orphanage in Butare where I also worked.
