Rune is a heartfelt and creative person who really understands how to create impact. Rune and I worked together on a global campaign called Act Now, Speak Up for the United Nations Environment Programme. What really impressed me most about Rune is just how passionate he is when sharing a vision for the work that needs to be done. He is very forward thinking. When the pressure was on, Rune knew how to communicate the needs of the client while balancing all of the external elements. It was a pleasure working with Rune and he would be a valuable asset to any organization.

I write speeches and copy to spread ideas and solutions for a more sustainable future. It is called #ThoughtLeadership or #ExecutiveCommunication, and it involves analysis and strategies – speeches, key notes and presentations – and op-eds, blogs posts, articles and social media. Many consultants will tell you how to find you why and your purpose. Their own purpose is limited to helping you find and formulate yours – regardless what it is. That is not enough for me. The direction must be in line with the UN #SustainableDevelopmentGoals, the #SDGs. They are also my goals and pushing the world in their direction is my purpose.Three reasons to use me:1. Gain political influence - My experience comes from the Danish government and municipalities. That is why I can write words that will speak to political priorities, enhance public affairs and improve positioning of your company and its goals.2. Reach an international audience - I was trained a Social Anthropologist and worked with diversity at Copenhagen City. That is why I write words that will resonate across international and diverse audiences without pushing anybody away.3. Act on Climate - I have worked with climate, energy, environment and biodiversity – not to mention water. That is why my words tell credible stories of green ideas and solutions without risking accusations of greenwashing. As a speechwriter I am a two-time international Cicero Speechwriting Award Winner and speeches by me have been featured on the cover of Vital Speeches International six times. I have written for CEOs, Government Ministers, Members of Parliament, Academics and grass root activists. Show less

I work on strategic use of the City of Aarhus' membership in international climate networks - how to make sure that they bring valuable input to our local transition and how for us to bring value to the work of other cities. As part of the Advisory Board I am helping the University of Aarhus, School of Culture and Society, to decide what student need to learn to be best equipped for the job market and the radical transitions facing society. Chief among them the sustainability transition, digitalisation, and having a people-perspective. I jumped at it when a chance arose to return to political speechwriting for the government and the green transition for a sustainable economy. • I wrote speeches for the executive leadership and the minister, • I structured the speechwriting process and I helped get our messages out to target audiences in an engaging way. Within three months we had restructured the speechwriting process and had a speech featured on the cover of Vital Speeches International. I was hired to develope Copenhagen's project portfolio regarding the intersection of safety & integration and innovation & economic growth. I did that on multiple projects before zeroing in on communication and taking on increasing amounts of speechwriting tasks. • I wrote speeches for three different Copenhagen Mayors and many City Councillors about diversity and equality. My work resulted in 2 published speeches in the prestigious journal Vital Speeches International. I also coordinated an international conference for Mayors about the advantages of diversity. • I coordinated the strategic communication of ’Engage in CPH’ with press, print, web, social media, verbal and video as well as language guidance. I left with 520 local organisations signed up for our Diversity Charter. • I managed projects such as Hot Spot (who won the Ministry's award for best integration project in Housing 2009), The Safety Index (which has now been implemented nationally), VINK (international best practice in preventing radicalisation) and Engage in CPH (judged to be 'best practice' by the Council of Europe). • My last project was the Public-Private Innovation project OPEN ARMS combining the strength of corporate and public Copenhagen to enhance diversity, service and branding across the city. OPEN ARMS has now gone national under the name WELCOME. Show less
