The audience of women from India and APAC could identify very well with the challenges she listed, and were hugely inspired by her tips on how to speak up, how to respond when your opinion is invalidated, and how above all one must change the narrative in one’s head – the biggest biases are the ones inside our own heads. Runam’s career itself is an excellent example of how to identify and create opportunities instead of waiting for your manager or others to give them to you, and her case studies helped women introspect on whether they are holding themselves back unnecessarily.
