• Product Manager

  As a Product Manager I oversee Sitemark's entire product offering. I gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders, prioritise the topics we want to focus on, oversee the entire development pipeline, align on updates to our service offering and communicate the vision and strategy towards the rest of the company. I learned how to manage a lot of different stakeholders (different customer profiles from several industries, drone pilots, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Management, board, operational teams, etc.). The scope of my work includes the SaaS platform, the planning and validation tools for drone pilots, the internal management platform, the processing chain, the artificial intelligence and any in-house or outsourced manual services. I heavily rely on mocks and prototypes (Figma) for product discovery, along with data-driven measurement techniques. For proper delivery of our developments I work closely with the marketing team and often participate myself in on-line webinars.

• Full-Stack Developer + Machine Learning Scientist

  My work at Sitemark began as an iOS developer, automating drone flights to reduce errors and increase efficiency. I quickly switched to full-stack development, working on the different web platforms (React, TypeScript, Express), the processing chain (Python) and AI to automate the analysis of the drone's imagery. Through my passion for delivering value to the end customer and designing smooth interface experiences, I later joined the Product team.

  I started out as a Product Owner when Sitemark's growth caused the creation of 3 virtual teams: Acquisition, Analysis and Visualisation. I worked as a full-stack engineer in the Analysis team, while taking up the PO role for the Acquisition team. I later took over the PO role for the Visualisation and Analysis teams as well to finally transition to Product Manager.As a PO I decided what the virtual team worked on. Together with the other POs and the PM we decided on the main priorities for the virtual teams each quarter, after which I led the discovery and design of the solutions, the refinements with the engineering team and followed up the implementation, release and marketing of the features. I stayed in close contact with internal and external customers to understand problems and validate solutions. I both worked with designers and created designs and mockups myself.
