I completed a vacation scheme at Farrer & Co in April 2018. In my first week, I shadowed an associate in their disputes department and worked with partners from other practice areas, including family and employment, to finalise my client presentation task. I enjoyed the contentious side of the work and the litigation involved in the cases I worked on. The second week on the corporate desk gave me a fresh insight into finance and banking, as the majority of my previous work experience has come from my time at State Street.
