Establish working parameters for the effective operation and maintenance of several Joint Health and Safety Committees while ensuring that Terms of References are applied in accordance with applicable Legislation. Including a partnership role in policy development, reviews of health and safety goals, incident investigations and MOL inspection reviews. Develop and implement the IHSA COR and ISO 14001 Audit Programs to ensure corporate and applicable Legislated standards are met and maintained. Review and make recommendations directly to managers and supervisors on all safety related incidents and medical aids investigations. Compile and report monthly and yearly statistics for LTI's, Motor Vehicle Collisions, Modified Job Duties, Environmental Spills, Near Misses and Injury Frequencies. While developing expertise in safety at an executive level and establishing a decision making role, I have been able to make a positive change along with continuous improvements throughout the corporate Health and Safety Management System.
