I am working in an interdisciplinary area of cardiovascular epidemiology, neurology and drug-safety. My research is focused on studying the effect of the use of lipid lowering drugs (statins) on the neuro-cognitive profile in people over time.I am responsible for designing and preparing my project protocol, obtaining relevant ethics clearances, preparing study tools, undergoing training for neuro-cognitive assessment in adults, collecting study data, analyzing it using a statistical software and preparing a thesis report.My work also involves manuscript writing and publishing, as well as undertaking analysis of health data for statistical experience.
