Laura Burnett

To whom it may concern- It is my pleasure to strongly recommend Ruben Quesada. My name is Laura Burnett, an Architect/Interior Specialist at CASE Design and Remodeling in Bethesda, VA. I have 8 years of experience working in architecture firms, both residential and commercial. Ruben and I worked together for two years at ZGF Architects designing, and coordinating the new HQ2 Amazon Headquarters located in Arlington VA. During our time together, Ruben displayed great talents in the technical applications and coordination necessary across trades, specifically structural and MEP. He is a forward thinker and a creative problem solver who is interested in hearing all perspectives to develop the best solution. His understanding of systems and large coordination would be a benefit to any team. However, it is not just his ability to understand complex techniques that impresses me. Ruben is a joy to work with, because of his amazing positive attitude and eagerness to create a healthy and understanding team dynamic. His can-do manner and team building skills were necessary and valued not just by me, but by his peers who often relied on him to get the job done. Regardless of his own workload as Manager of the Building Core Design Team, Structural Coordination and overall Internal Systems, Ruben would take the time to assist each member of his team, whether on small menial tasks or large-scale coordination efforts. The Amazon Headquarters was a fast paced, high stress project and Ruben handled it with kindness and determination, always extending a helping hand. If you need any additional information, please feel free to contact me. This letter only provides a snapshot of Ruben’s talents, and I would be happy to further elaborate on my time on his team. Sincerely, Laura Burnett Lauravb@umich.edu Architect and Interior Specialist

Ruben is a detail oriented student who manages his challenging academic pursuit while at the same time is fully involved in other university groups. He accepted the position as House Manager in a new residence facility at Auburn and worked effectively to address the many issues that come up with any new facility. Ruben is a strong communicator and also personable and he can be trusted to take on responsibilities as a self starter..
