* Competence Center Lead for Power BI * Presales support; intake conversations with prospective clients to get a feel for scale and requirements of project * Interview support; technical questions for Power BI candidates * Conducted an analytics platform comparison for a global player in the manufacturing and distribution of semiconductor memory chips that needs extensive reporting capabilities to ensure the quality of their manufacturing processes. They were looking to update their current analysis flow with a more modern and user-friendly analytics platform with an emphasis on advanced analytics and customized visuals specific to chip manufacturing processes. We compared 4 major analytics platforms on key criteria and formulated a tailor-made recommendation based on our findings. * Project to create and expand internal reporting within the company. This entails HR, Finance, Operations and Account Management dashboards primarily in Power BI. My contributions so included reporting on financial margins, an interactive tour of the company for prospective clients, a colleague birthday tracker, a timesheet tracker and a few showcase dashboards to give prospect clients an idea of what Power BI can do. * Short-term project for a non-governmental organization that strives for a climate-neutral future for one of Belgium's biggest cities. The project entailed reporting on the sustainability of the city through various indicators (socio-economic, environmental, ecological, etc.). We modeled and visualized these indicators using Power BI, yielding a collection of interactive reports that tells the story of how the city is becoming sustainable.

They have an R&D team of around 40 to develop, maintain and improve assessments and platforms.As part of the R&D team, my focus was on monitoring the psychometric quality of assessments and exercises, introducing innovative analysis methodologies, help the organization take its first steps in business intelligence, and various process optimization efforts.* Psychometric analysis: statistical analysis of candidate test scores to establish psychometric test quality using item response theory methods, differential item functioning, anomaly detection, data forensics, simulations, etc. Automated recurring analyses and developed project-based analysis workflow with dynamic reports in R (tidyverse, ggplot2 & Markdown)* Reporting assessment results: building tailor-made dashboards for clients with large candidate pools. First in Tableau, later in Power BI* Implementation of learning management system: technical and functional advisor to CPO in process of selecting and implementing a new LMS for internal trainings (organized by HR) and external trainings (organized by R&D)* Document processing and version control: developed an automated process to adapt thousands of pdf files with Adobe Acrobat Pro and built a version-controlled document library in SharePoint to store them* Business intelligence: built dashboards for analysis and reporting of operational data in Power BI: resources (timetracking), online platform use (errors, logins, etc.), product use (test types, reports, languages, etc.), client behavior (consumption of tests, seasonal trends, etc.)
