      I was working in the installation of lifting equipment (gantry cranes and lifting beams, mechanical and electrical) to be used in the installation of the ventilation equipment and then to carry out the maintenance in all the new stations for Crossrail project. I have successfully project managed the installation of the 87 overhead cranes, starting with the civil works to fix the steel brackets to the walls, following the mechanical and electrical assembly of all the components and finishing with the load testing. I had to prepare all site documentation (RAMS, SNC, ITP's, NCR's, SOR & RAWL) to carry out the works, ensuring we met the H&S and Quality standards and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to arrange the delivery of materials and machinery, reducing the downtime with an effective program of the works. Also, I was in very close collaboration with the Design Department to solve design issues found on site proposing different options to mitigate the problems.

      I was working in the construction of wind turbines from scratch, starting with the access roads (using GPS to mark the way and checking levels), crane pads, excavation for turbine foundation and supervision of steel and concreting works, arranging all the testing to ensure that the works complied the standards asked by the client (PBT's, earthing,...). I have also supervised and managed the H&S issues and files on site, order materials, hire plant equipment and report to the Site Agent on a weekly basis with very little or no supervision. Finally I was responsible for producing the As Built drawings and handover files, to be passed to the Client once the project was finished. I successfully installed 27 wind turbines.

      The Project was the construction of a new road cable-stayed bridge over the Firth of Forth, developed by a JV (Galliford Try, DRAGADOS, Hotchief Solutions and American Bridge), I worked in the Caisson Department. We were in charge of the preparation, positioning, sinking and ballasting of the caissons that would be the towers of the new bridge. After the cleaning of the sea bed by airlifting and underwater inspection to comply with the required cleanness stated in the ITP, we poured all three caissons to handover them to the Towers Department (almost 30,000 m3 of underwater concrete).
