      A few months into the COVID-19 pandemic I co launched a company to tackle the lack of a highly sensitive rapid test for COVID-19. In this company I am responsible for the completion of the electronic hardware that will interact with the In Vitro test technology (LAMP), the debug and productisation of the test kit and the digital platform that will manage, control and interpret the data from the test.The solution uses microbiology technology (LAMP) to identify the presence of COVID-19 on nasal samples, the hardware uses camera technology to capture images of the reaction and through a Deep Learning model the result of the test are interpreted.As an agile team we use Jira and Confluence to keep the different layers of the projects in sync utilizing two types of workflows: Scrum and Kanban depending on the area: scientific, web/app development and electronics.Project planning and budgeting was done using Microsoft project to facilitate the visualization of workload, roadmap, creation of executive reports and investment presentations.
