  After the successful coordination of the Elderly Care Programme and the internationalization department of our company, I was given the opportunity to organize various programs within the company.   After graduating, I started as a teacher at Hivset, 'Higher Institution of Nursing Sint-Elisabeth'. I taught at the secondary as well as the postsecondary department. In the secondary school, I instructed religion, pedagogy, geography, history, Dutch and mathematics. In the postsecondary department, I gave lectures on biomedical ethics. I combined this fulltime job with a one year fulltime study progamme at the Department of Education to be granted the 'European Certified Teachers Degree'.

  During my second year at university, I took the initiative to undertake a temporary project: an inter-facultry student newspaper. Aside from discussing several topics, we maintained a database where students could find useful information on certain events throughout the year.   In high school, I was an avid chess player. After some successful tournaments, I got the opportunity to teach chess at TUSK, the local chess club.
