Ruben and I took Unix/Linux class in Sierra College and worked at final team project for the class together. We developed Degree planner for Sierra College students in Linux environment using Bash, Python, Perl and SQLite relational database management system. Ruben demonstrated the proficiency with used programming languages and RDBMS. He also came up with the important ideas about application design and implementation and was looking all the time for the ways to do things better. He is thorough in his work and very detailed oriented. Ruben showed great intelligence and, in my opinion, is good at analytical thinking and problem solving. He always worked in timely manner and completed his part of the code on time. He is a hard worker and a good communicator. It’s was a real pleasure to work with him at the same project.
