During my graduation internship at AWL, I developed a training module together with a fellow student. I was responsible for the mechanical design. This training module will have to train PLC programmers to become acquainted with the standards of AWL. The training module contains the techniques: IO-Link, analog technology and conveyor belt control by means of a servo control forward. I was able to learn a lot by designing the training module. This starts with collecting design data, after which I have to choose the right materials and parts and will produce a complete drawing package, which is worked out in SolidWorks. Organizing the right people and resources, so that the project runs as quickly and smoothly as possible, was also important in my project. Safety is one of the most important and most difficult parts of designing a machine, and so it is in my module. I have made a risk assessment for this, according to the standards: ISO 12100 and ISO 13849. For this I have taken the correct risk-limiting measures in consultation with a safety specialist from AWL. Show less

During my 20 weeks at Auping, I, together with 2 fellow students, did research into automating work in a collaborative way by using cobots. To this end, we performed many tests and visited various cobot suppliers in order to be able to provide Auping with advice. During this internship I was able to concentrate a lot on the cobot market. What is possible and what are the differences in cobots. In addition, the process of starting a research, together with 2 fellow students, has been a new challenge for me. In this I encountered various learning points, such as: orienting yourself in a field, organizing a project and making contact with various suppliers of cobots and cobot accessories. Show less

Within Van Lente I spent 10 weeks in the department: Maintenance. With this I went to various companies to carry out maintenance or to look for malfunctions. My internship at Van Lente was a follow-up internship, where I was able to learn a lot from various experts. I have worked with fire alarm systems, ammonia systems, lighting and malfunctions. This allowed me to build a solid foundation for my general knowledge in electrical engineering. Within Van Lente I spent 10 weeks in the department: Maintenance.
