I work on different cloud oriented projects helping clients to move their applications to cloud(mostly GCP and AWS), improve their current infrastructure or introduce new features to their setup. Projects: RUBY MONOLITH APPLICATION Background: High-load integration platform. Migrates data from Amazon to Shopify Country: USA Result: Took part in the migration replace during which a PostgreSQL replication was configured between GCP and Digital Ocean. Configured Travis CI to build, ship and deploy application to GCP Kubernetes. Took part in ansible investigation during the migration towards GKE resource and Helm templating. Technologies: GCP, Digital Ocean, Ansible, Ruby, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, New Relic, Helm NODEJS MICROSERVICES Background: Blockchain startup that support all major cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc Country: United Arab Emirates Result: A discovery of the clients NodeJS microservices was performed and documented. Microservices were rebuilt for better interoperability and flexibility. Infrastructure was migrated from Digital Ocean to AWS EKS. CI/CD was configured at GitlabCI.
