  Ultrasound Technician - extern • Used independent judgment during echocardiogram to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings such as: hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and dilated cardiomyopathy. • Performed Stress Echo’s, T-waves, Holter Monitors, and EKGs. • Performed vascular studies such as scans of the Carotid and Abdominal Aorta utilizing Carotid 2D, color flow Doppler, and pulsed wave Doppler. • Conducted Venous duplex examination of lower and upper extremities • Measured PVR/Segmental pressures of the lower and upper extremities • Conducted ABI studies of the Upper and Lower extremity with pressure Doppler waveform analysis. • Perform Echocardiograms, carotid duplex and renal examinations. • Utilized ICAEL in all cardiovascular modalities. • Responsible for performing quality sonographic studies by following established procedures & physician's orders to provide quality diagnostic data for interpretation by Radiologist. • Maintained daily log sheet of patient seen used independent judgment and apply learned methodologies according to established procedures. • Set-up equipment to administer the particular procedure in a timely fashion and maintained daily log sheet of patient seen. • Obtained essential information from patients, medical records, and previous scans for clinical correlation. • Prepared patients for examinations and informed patients on what to expect in order to ensure comfort. • Performed all required ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level requiring limited supervision.
