Thoroughly enjoyed working with Roz for some key reasons over and above her abilities within data modelling, all of which will make her a great asset in any future endeavours. Common sense and the ability to incorporate additional context into decision-making, even when it may not be ‘perfect’ from a data perspective – a great mark of maturity in working with data. Commercial understanding – working to understand commercial benefits and requirements from changes or additions, rather than leaping in blindly. Highly collaborative and pleasant to work with – always adding a human touch to what could potentially be some dry topics, helping to keep everyone interested and motivated. All of this put together makes for a great colleague to have worked with, and I hope our paths cross again in the future!

I hired Roz to embed econometric modelling into the Argos way of planning and allocating Argos' budget. Roz has excellent technical skills, but her killer Apps are her tenacity and innate leadership skills. She also has a remarkable ability to anticipate questions and challenges and is always prepared. I thought it would take 2 years to achieve our goal, but with Roz's approach and style econometrics has been fully embraced in less than 18 months. Roz also had a huge influence on the department. Her sense of fun, creativity enthusiasm and professionalism helped create a very lively and productive environment that the whole team appreciated. She is missed and I hope we get to work together again.
