As an expert on intermodal transport I was asked by the World Bank to make an assessment on their planned investment projects related to port and railway infrastructure in Tanzania. These investment projects are aimed at stimulating the economy in Tanzania and the neighbouring countries by utilizing intermodal transport. The assessment provides insight in the suitability and sustainability of the planned interventions.
