  Service based software development, specialising in (but not limited to) real-time embedded (RTOS) systems. Originally with MPC Data Limited, until they were bought out by Bsquare Limited several years ago (hence the change of company name). Duties involved most areas of software development; requirements capture, design, development, testing, release and customer support. Mostly team based projects, across a wide range of embedded, real-time systems as well as full operating systems (Windows, Windows Embedded and Linux). Example projects include a PCR-based DNA identification system, a distributed / embedded high security psychiatric hospital key/door security system, a tuneable laser diode spectroscopy gas analysis system and hard drive enclosure storage firmware.
