Beginning in 2003, Roy began designing and doing significant renovations to our home -- gourmet kitchen, bathrooms, dining room/living room, and a 90-gallon built-in aquarium in our front hallway. We are delighted with his work to this day and would hire him back to do yet more work in a heartbeat if he were still located on the US Mainland! He was very creative in designing a large master bathroom, complete with an extra large stone shower, new heated flooring, new cabinetry, a large storage cabinet and granite counter tops. This bathroom is a real showpiece. In 2004, Roy began designing a large gourmet kitchen, complete with an island with a sink and stove top, new stone flooring, new cabinetry and granite counter tops. The work was completed in reasonable time after complete gutting of the old kitchen. With our wish to remove an outdated dry bar near the front hallway, Roy suggested, designed and installed a large built-in salt water aquarium that operates with four of the original fish and is a true centerpiece of the home to this day. During these two years, Roy also performed other, smaller jobs in our home -- replacing an old guest bathroom floor, installing new toilets and bathroom sinks with new cabinetry, building two large divider walls between the dining room and small parlor, and expertly managing the subcontractors for new windows and a dual-system heating and air conditioning system. We are forever grateful to Roy for coming to our home late one summer evening in 2003 to rescue our very small, new kitten from a heating vent we had opened momentarily to retrieve a pet toy. He stayed for hours to help us locate the kitten, take apart the duct work, rescue the kitten, and put the entire system back together to get the air conditioner going on what turned out to be an exceptionally hot night. Thanks for everything, Roy!

Roy was hired to install granite for our kitchen, when we fired our contractor. Roy agreed to take over the entire project , and we were blessed he did. He's a perfectionist,, has a great eye , and listens to you before approaching a project, we are very pleased with his work and prices. He was put in a horrible situation, yet fixed the old problems from the fired contractor, which look bettter than the old work, finished the kitchen under budget, looking better than we ever would have believed. This is someone you can trust. He's doing the rest of our house in sections. Glad to answer any questions.or show photos of his work He's also on angies list .Hilo. Hawaii. One of the few real experts left.
