  I oversaw all operational aspects of the Social Security disability claims and appeals program . I prepared and presented written and oral arguments on behalf of disabled applicants to Administrative Law Judges in a courtroom setting. I also oversaw the Medical Entitlement Recovery Services department representing clients for state disability and healthcare benefits as a mechanism to resolve bad debt for client hospitals . I oversaw the processing of charity applications for medical debt forgiveness, the filing of workers compensation and liens for collection of medical debts. I served as the liaison for client hospital relations and represented the company in all government relation activities. This included working on the Family Support Division's deputy director' s authorized representative work group to improve service delivery and applicant rights. Show less
