  Senior engineer with over 12 years’ experience in hydrologic and hydrodynamic computer modelling. I have been involved in a range of studies involving the use of RMA-2 and TUFLOW two-dimensional hydrodynamic modelling applications. Through detailed modelling coupled with presentation and analysis software WaterRIDE I provide high level outputs to service the requirements of both private and government clients. My experience includes the development and review of numerous models for riverine, creek and estuarine systems throughout the east coast of Australia and Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. I have recently specialised in the analysis of floodway corridors culminating in co-authoring two papers titled ‘Procedures for Floodway Delineation – Is there a Uniform Approach?’ prepared in 2010, and ‘Refinement of Procedures for Determining Floodway Extent’ prepared in 2012. I have been involved in the investigation of numerous residential, commercial and industrial development applications ranging in small to large scales. I have taken a technical lead and project management role in these investigations, specialising in the flood modelling of pre and post-development landform, review and optimisation of the designed landform, preparation of Flood Impact Assessments and Flood Risk Assessments to support development. I have been involved in the preparation of several flood studies and floodplain risk management studies throughout the east-cost of Australia. I have gained extensive experience in all facets of these investigations having taken carriage of flood modelling tasks, options assessment, benefit-cost analysis , consideration of emergency response management and client and community consultation.
