I have been employed as a Donor Relations & Stewardship Coordinator with Pilgrims Hospice Society for just over three years. I am assigned to manage the information provided by our stakeholders and to ensure our donor related data is kept in a secure environment, perform accurate and consistent data entry and to conduct database updates and maintenance on a daily basis. I am responsible for the input of all constituent and donation data, ensuring the donors receive their official receipts for income tax purposes and acknowledging and thanking them in a timely manner. I also take care of all donor requests and correspondence and track all actions on their personal records. I work closely with the Fund Development team to assist with reviewing and setting our fundraising goals, planning events, creating lists for donor appeals, email marketing and donor recognition, and creating and carrying out our stewardship strategies. Skilled Professional Raiser's Edge Donor Software Specialist / Segmented Direct Mail Appeal List Preparation/ Fundraising Database Manager / 19 years experience working in a Donor Relations I was primarily responsible for the security, maintenance and utilization of the Raiser’s Edge Fundraising Donor Database and its processes, including database management, complex queries, importing and exporting data, providing analytical reports and training team members. I extracted highly complex segmented mailing lists for five direct mail and two lottery appeals annually. I oversaw, maintained and successfully ran a high volume of monthly donations, including credit card and direct debit transactions. I built a system for this task that included updating donor payment information, processing the financial transactions, batching the transactions into the system, following up in a timely manner with donor correspondence. I created detailed manuals and training documentation for the database for the purpose of training all fund development staff in data entry and gift processing procedures. I processed gift transactions using all methods of payment including cash, cheques, credit card, debit, electronic fund transfer, as well as responsible for online donation platforms. I developed the lottery ticket system designed for issuing lottery tickets. I increased our lottery revenues substantially by setting up our software to sell lottery tickets online as well as incorporating the use of promoting our lottery via emails. Show less
