      • Dec 2015 - Apr 2020

Supported the President and Chief Executive Officer for YA as well as the Executive Leadership Team and serve as a liaison with the Board of managers. YA is a digital marketing company helping clients sell more products and services through a suite of digital promotional marketing solutions. In this role, I utilize Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Outlook and One Note) as well as some of the Google Suite. I book both domestic and international travel and process expense reports for several of the executives. I attend the weekly Executive Leadership Team meetings and take notes and follow-up on action steps and arrange for monthly All-Team meetings (for both US and Canadian employees) utilizing JoinMe or Zoom. In this role I act as part Office Manager and supervise the Administrative Assistant as well. In addition, I routinely work on PowerPoint presentations for the Board, Leadership Team and Sales, assist the General Counsel with paralegal document work, handle a variety of HR tasks, and assist the Accounting team with reconciliation work. Being a smaller office, I get to work on a variety of projects, which I greatly enjoy. Show less

Originally hired to support the CEO of Fairview Health Services. The role of Assistant to the Board was added to my responsibilities, which included coordinating, preparing for and attending all board meetings and retreats, board committee meetings; preparation of materials using the board portal and recording all minutes. In addition, I proposed and executed the change from paper to an electronic board portal and trained all the board members and set them up with their own iPads. In my time at Fairview, I worked through four CEO transitions and many leadership changes and led the executive assistant team of 8. I learned so much and had many great experiences. Show less

Provided support to the Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, Target Canada and the Supply Chain team. Worked on the new Target Canada team building the vision for Target stores in Canada and on the ground-breaking work necessary to make it possible. The team grew daily and we became experts at on-boarding. This was a tremendous opportunity and we worked differently in that decisions and work had to happen quickly and we got International experience in terms of purchasing, taxes, expenses and many other areas. Many of us were selected and thrown together to just make things happen. It was fun, challenging and hopefully will be a huge success for Target. Show less

    • SVP Assistant
      • Mar 2010 - Mar 2011

Provided support to the Senior Vice President of New Business Development for Target Corporation. This was an exciting role working for an exciting and innovative supervisor who really specialized in building team and team motivation. This was a new area of focus for Target and was meant to be the funnel or lens through which all potential future growth opportunities would be vetted. I was the 4th person hired to be on this team, so it was a great experience to build a team, onboard people, work on logistics, etc. We started work on CityTarget which was an exciting venture and it's been great to go and see the finished product. I gained so much experience in this role and am grateful to have been a part of this vibrant team. Show less

    • VP Assistant
      • Dec 2007 - Mar 2010

Provided support to the Vice President, Creative (Marketing) and his team of 225. He oversaw Target's inHouse agency and was my first exposure to true marketing and advertising and getting to work with very talented creative people. The Vice President also worked with the outside vendors and creative agencies on many campaigns. The Marketing Department went through a complete restructure during my tenure and I ultimately ended up supporting the Vice President, Marketing Operations from January 2010-March 2010. This involved onboarding an executive from the field to the corporate headquarters. We were pulling together a new team, reorganizing and restructuring to make this new function successful. • Executive Assistant to Superintendent and School Board
      • Oct 2006 - Dec 2007

Provided support to the Superintendent of Eden Prairie Schools and the School Board. Prepared materials, attended and took minutes for all school board meetings. This was a very dynamic role. Working in a non-profit, educational environment with lots of input from the public (and parents!) It was a time of great change for the Eden Prairie School district. I had previously filled in for this role on a part-time basis and enjoyed the many challenges. I was able to successfully transition the Board to a board portal. Show less
