Roxanne is a great supervisor because she allows her staff to run with ideas and bring their skills and experience to function for the benefit of the organization. At the same time, she circles back to the foundational issues of mission and vision of the organization / program, quality of service provision, and impact on clients in her discussions with staff. I watched Roxanne work effectively with staff and other stakeholders and admired her ability to encourage the best from others. She has a broad depth of knowledge related to services for older adults and is working with her team to create new services to meet the needs of older adults in the 21st century. I feel gratitude for having the opportunity to work with Roxanne.
