      I am currently a Stanback Postdoctoral Scholar in Global Environmental Science based between the laboratories of Professor Dianne Newman (https://dknweb.caltech.edu/) and Dr Francois Tissot (https://isotoparium.org/) at the California Institute of Technology. In this role, I conduct multi-disciplinary research on the role of chemical environments in infectious disease, taking concepts from environmental science to drive forward new discoveries in the clinical realm. In this role, I also coordinate and facilitate clinical research collaborations between the Newman and Tissot laboratories and the University of Southern California hospitals and Children's Hospital Los Angeles.In addition, I coordinate and oversee the submission and review of Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Institutional Biosafety Board (IBC) applications in these collaborations to ensure compliance with medical and health-related policies. #environment #environmentalresearch #clinicalresearch #medicalresearch #medicalpolicy #healthpolicy
